What we've done this week.......
This week we have been reading the decodable book, "Liz Wins", practicing the short "i" sound. Please have your child read this to you. The new sight words this week are will, how & out. Please remember to help your child practice the sight word list that was sent home last week, and if it has been misplaced we are happy to send home another. It would benefit your child tremendously to practice these words once each evening. These are all of the sight words we will learn this year, and some of them they have not even seen yet. Carnival Tonight!
Tonight K-School staff, parents and volunteers are putting on a carnival for all to come and enjoy! Please come to this wonderful event, it is completely family-oriented, very reasonable, and you can even eat dinner here!
Come on down, it starts at 5:00 and goes until 8:00. Fun, games, food & prizes! Yippee! See you there!
