What we've done this week..........
This week we have been reading the decodable book, "Fix It", practicing the short "I" sound. Please have your child read this book to you. The new sight words this week are them, some, and then. Please rememebr to help your child practice the sight word list that was sent home two weeks ago, and if it has been misplaced we are happy to send home another. It would benefit your child tremendously to practice these words once each evening. These are all of the sight words we will learn this year, and some of them they have not seen yet. I just wante to send out a special thank you to the parents in our class who helped make it happen: Miranda Lampley & Audrey Lindstrom. A special special thanks to Kady and her brother Cody for helping paint the fortune telling boxes, and Kady for taking tickets. I'd also like to thank Mrs. Sherry Friar and Mrs. Sandy Krawez for being fortune tellers adn they don't even have students in our class!
